What do you charge and how do you base your prices?
My starting rates vary by the type of art I am working on, MURAL, Fine Art, or Caricature. I charge based on time & materials used. Prices on Ebay are the lowest you will find my artwork for. GRONJOVI is my art name which you may type into the SEARCH box on Ebay to find my work.
FINE ART: My starting rate for a custom project is $75.00, shipping USA is included in this price. I do ship outside the USA. I work with high quality Acrylics and buy from Dickblick.com art supplies. Other stores I use are Hobby Lobby & Michaels.
CARICATURE: To book me as a Caricature Artist is a minimum of 2 hours and I charge a rate of $250.00 per hour plus a $50 travel fee if further than 30 miles from Wonder Lake, IL 60097. I do individual caricatures. Rates for individual caricatures start at $25 on up to hundreds for large groups photo’s etc … 100 people on one page … cost $1,000.
MURALS: I do large and small murals. Starting price $500. Consultation is free. Travel expense is paid by the buyer once the job begins and a contract is made and we go over all of the details before work begins. If at some point you decide to cancel the project that is fine … I take a 50% deposit for materials and my travel fees are non-refundable.
How long do I have to wait for my ART?
You may have your art as soon as the Day of … or if I am backlogged, your project may take a few weeks.
LEGAL STUFF: I reserve copyrights to my paintings, keep copies in my files and unless noted by the buyer BEFORE THE FINAL SALE have the right to distribute the photo of my work on my blog page, face book or to use for other promotional use. If you do not want the public to see the art you bought from me you MUST let me know prior to project completion as I take before & after photos of all of my work. You may request that no prints be made of your original by myself for distribution, your original is yours no questions asked. You have the right at anytime to resell your art at a higher price.

Custom artwork is based upon supplies and hours worked. Prices range from $20.00 - $1,000 for larger and more involved pieces. Sales may be advertised from time to time. Inquiries are welcome regarding barter opportunities.
